Puno is home to the famous Uros Floating Islands on Lake Titicaca. These artificial islands are made of totora reeds and inhabited by the Uros people, who have a unique way of life based on their connection to the lake. The Uros weave totora to create their homes and sustain themselves through fishing and using the versatile plant for various purposes.

A lot of tours here are actually very touristy so if you are going to Bolivia I would recommend going to Lake Titicaca there instead.
