The Museum of Contemporary Art of Lima, also known as MAC Lima, is a great museum if you want to explore some of Perus modern culture. Designed by architect Frederick Cooper Llosa, this museum is all about showcasing the latest and greatest in contemporary art. It's a non-profit organization that opened its doors in 2013 on the site of the former Barranco Zoo and lake. So, if you're into modern art this is a great choice. Also a good option if you need to occupy yourself on a rainy day!
