The Cerro Tzankujil Nature Reserve in San Marcos is one of my favorite places on the lake. You can find a rock, sunbathe, and swim in the lake or if you are feeling adventurous, cliff jump. There are lots of little paths you can take to admire the view and be out in nature. It is a very peaceful place with incredible views. Bring snacks and drinks since there is nothing being sold once you enter.
