The area around The Bridge of Sighs in Barranco is a nice area to walk around and explore. There are some artsy shops to see and plenty of street art. The actual bridge is a small wooden pedestrian overpass that connects the Hermitage of Barranco with the Paseo Chabuca Granda. The bridge, which was inaugurated in 1876, has a unique history which attracts plenty of tourists….and pigeons.
