Yala National Park is another safari option in Sri Lanka. I personally didn't go here because I opted for Udawalawe instead. I heard from friends that Yala is more expensive, crowded, and further away. The big draw is that you could possibly see a wild leopard in the park. Everyone I spoke to said they never saw one as its very rare and you have to be very lucky. But you never know!

There are some safari options where you can stay in the park and sleep under the stars and I have heard that its very enjoyable and off the grid.
