Viajero hostel in the Barranco neighbourhood of Lima is the best option in the area. The hostel itself is stunning and housed inside a 112 year old renovated building. They host daily and nightly social events/tours, have both dorm and private rooms, and a bar/restaurant on site. Its in a great artsy area with plenty of yummy restaurants and shopping nearby.
