Lake Parón is the largest lake in the Cordillera Blanca, nestled in the Peruvian Andes. Surrounded by majestic snow-capped peaks, it gives off a stunning turquoise color due to the high lime concentrations in the water. The lake sits at 4200 meters.

This hike is fairly easy and short since you drive most of the way up. You do have to book a tour since the lake is very far from town. If you are short on time, I wouldn't do this hike since a majority of your day is spent driving. But the views are absolutely gorgeous and the water is truly so blue it almost hurts your eyes.
