The Indian Nose trail in San Pedro on Lake Atitlán is the starting point for a popular hike that offers stunning panoramic views of the lake and surrounding volcanoes. Many people choose to do this hike for sunrise and although the early morning wake up is tough, the views make it so so worth it.

It is not too hard of a hike because it quite short, under an hour. It is recommended to go with a guide/tour because the locals get really mad if they see you going solo. It is possible though to go alone but I saw people who did this and the locals were visibly upset.

The tours include pickup from your accomodation and a snack/tea while waiting in the cold and dark for sunrise.
