The Sri Dalada Museum in Kandy is also known as the "Temple of the Tooth" because it is believed to hold one of Buddhas teeth. The museum/temple showcases a collection of artifacts and exhibits related to Buddhism and the history of the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.

If you go at 5pm you can be there for a drum ceremony from the monks. To be honest, it was extremely crowded and not really worth the price. I did not go with a tour guide so I didn't really know what I was looking at. I think to make a more meaningful connection to this sacred temple, a guide would be worthwhile.
