The Nine Arch Bridge, also known as the "Bridge in the Sky," is a stunning viaduct bridge built in 1919. With innovative engineering solutions, this colonial-era marvel stands tall at 24 meters high and spans 91 meters in length. Constructed by local labor under British supervision, the bridge's construction faced logistical challenges due to difficult terrain and material transport.

Today it is a big tourist hot spot for its architecture and picturesque surroundings. It's still a working railway so if you want to see a train pass by you need to check the local schedule.

It is a small hike to get down and see the bridge from the main street. There are local vendors selling coconuts and drinks if you need a refresher.
