If you are in the southern coast of Sri Lanka from November to April, you are in the ideal area to see some whales! Whale watching tours run out of Mirissa beach and start early in the morning. There are many companies who all offer the same thing so I would just try to find the best price and vibe. If you are lucky, maybe you can spot dolphins and turtles too!
