Devils Punchbowl Waterfall is one of the most impressive waterfalls in Arthur’s Pass National Park. The walk to the main viewing platform is very steep with lots of stairs and takes about 30 minutes return. It’s a challenging climb, but absolutely worth it if you’re up for it.

If you prefer something easier, you can still enjoy great views from the car park area. The first five minutes of the track are flat and lead to two footbridges where the waterfall can be clearly seen. There are also benches here, making it a lovely picnic spot with a dramatic mountain backdrop.
