🛅 Coin lockers are available at most major train stations throughout Tokyo, including Tokyo Station, Shinjuku Station, Shibuya Station, and Ueno Station. They're perfect for storing luggage before check-in, after check-out, or during a day trip.

Typical daily prices vary by size:

  • Small: „300–„500 (backpacks and shopping bags)

  • Medium: „500–„700 (carry-on suitcases)

  • Large: „700–„1,000 (full-size luggage)

Many modern lockers accept Suica, PASMO, and other IC cards, while older lockers may require „100 coins, so it's helpful to carry some cash just in case.

⏰ Most lockers can be used for up to three days. Items left longer are typically removed and held by station staff for an additional fee. Locker fees usually reset at midnight, so overnight storage may incur an extra charge.

Travel Tip: Large lockers fill up quickly at busy stations, especially during weekends, holidays, and peak travel seasons. If you can't find an available locker, try another station exit or use luggage storage services like Ecbo Cloak or your hotel's baggage storage service. Arriving before 10:00 a.m. often gives you the best chance of finding an empty large locker.
