Located in the heart of town at the end of historic Banba Street, Chichibu Shrine is a beautiful sanctuary with a 2,000-year history. Rebuilt by the famous shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu, its main hall features stunning, vibrant wood carvings of dragons and tigers by the legendary artist Hidari Jingoro. It is also famously known as the home of the spectacular Chichibu Night Festival every December
