The Riverside Museum in Glasgow, Scotland, is an exciting place for anyone interested in transport and its history! This award-winning museum has something to offer to students of all ages, from the tiny model ship collection in the Clyde Room, to the full-scale model of the pre-1977 Glasgow Subway station. Visitors can view a wide range of vehicles, from horse-drawn carriages to modern cars, as well as explore other forms of transport such as fire engines, motorcycles, caravans, and even toy cars and prams. Its striking building was constructed by Zaha Hadid Architects and engineers Buro Happold, and its River Clyde frontage at the Pointhouse Quay gives it an impressive location for exploring the past. A visit to the Riverside Museum is sure to be a fascinating adventure for the whole family – and one which no visitor will soon forget!
