Skógafoss is a massive waterfall in Iceland, known for its 200-foot drop and stunning rainbows on sunny days. Legend has it that a Viking buried treasure behind the falls, adding to its mystical charm. Visitors can climb a 527-step staircase for a top view or get soaked by the spray if they venture too close. The waterfall has also been featured in music videos, movies, and TV shows, making it a popular spot for both nature lovers and pop culture enthusiasts.
Advice from us: This is a MUST see. Jake and I renewed our vows here and it truly is a remarkable waterfall. Bring water gear if you plan to get close to the waterfall. Definitely take the stairs for the views and walk past to enjoy more waterfalls at the top. Every time we come to Iceland we never miss seeing this waterfall. Parking is about 1,000 Krona. You can pay with your PARKA App.
