We didn't end up taking a food tour here in Hoi An since we had already taken one in Hanoi. However, I actually wish we had taken a second one here since apparently the food can be quite different and it would have been interesting to see what was recommended to us by a tour operator.

If Hoi An is at the start of your Vietnam trip, I'd highly recommend taking a food tour here! Starting off your trip with a food tour is one of the best ways to get comfortable in a new location.

Kid tip: If your kids aren't too keen on trying new foods, make sure to feed them prior to heading out on the tour so you can enjoy the experience! Also, don't forget to pack the snacks!
