Sun World Ba Na Hills is the theme park and entertainment complex located at the top of Ba Na Hills, accessible by cable car from the base station outside Da Nang. It combines amusement park rides, indoor entertainment zones, landscaped gardens and a European-style village setting.
We didn’t visit ourselves, but it’s one of the main reasons families choose to spend a full day at Ba Na Hills.
What’s included:
Cable car access to the mountain resort
Outdoor rides and attractions
An indoor amusement and games area
Restaurants and cafes throughout the complex
Access to the Golden Bridge
Entry tickets typically include the cable car and most attractions, though some games or special activities may require additional payment.
Visiting with kids:
This is a full-day experience rather than a quick stop. There are rides and indoor areas that can appeal to older kids, but you’ll need to factor in:
Walking between zones
Queue times during peak periods
Changing weather at altitude
A long day if travelling from Da Nang
If your kids enjoy theme park-style attractions and structured entertainment, this may be a good fit. If you prefer slower-paced sightseeing or quieter cultural stops, it may feel busy and commercial.
Tickets:
Tickets are required for entry and include cable car access. Pricing varies by age and season, so it’s best to check the official Sun World website for current rates before visiting.
