The Golden Bridge is one of the most photographed landmarks in Vietnam and is located within the Ba Na Hills complex, around 30–40 minutes from Da Nang. The pedestrian bridge is held up by two large stone hands and sits high above the surrounding mountains, offering wide views over the landscape.
We didn’t visit ourselves, but it’s often the main reason people make the trip up to Ba Na Hills.
What to expect:
A curved pedestrian bridge with mountain views
Located within the wider Sun World Ba Na Hills complex
Accessed via cable car
Can be very busy, particularly mid-morning and early afternoon
The bridge itself isn’t large, so most visits are relatively short. Many people spend time taking photos before continuing on to explore the rest of Ba Na Hills.
Visiting with kids:
The bridge is easy to walk across, but it can get crowded, so you’ll need to keep younger kids close. There isn’t much to “do” beyond walking and taking photos, so this works best as part of a larger Ba Na Hills visit rather than a standalone activity.
Weather can also differ from the city below, as it’s located at altitude, so bringing an extra layer for kids can be helpful.
Entry:
There isn’t a separate ticket just for the Golden Bridge. Access is included in the Ba Na Hills admission ticket, which covers the cable car and entry to the complex.
