Five Finger Rapids is a narrow, rock-strewn pinch point on the Yukon River that was a famous navigation challenge during the Gold Rush, so if you see it from the roadside viewpoint you'll get a dramatic view of fast water and jagged rocks. If you are driving the Yukon/Klondike route, plan a short stop for photos and a look from the pullout or a brief walk to the best vantage.
