Escape into a lush, tropical paradise right in the heart of the city at the Bloedel Conservatory. Perched at the top of Queen Elizabeth Park, this glass-domed haven is your perfect warm-weather retreat, especially on a classic rainy Vancouver day. As you wander the pathways, you'll be surrounded by over 500 species of exotic plants and the vibrant colours of more than 100 free-flying birds, so keep your eyes peeled for a friendly parrot or a colourful pheasant. It's an intimate and peaceful experience, with the entire conservatory easily accessible right from the main entrance. This is our favourite rainy day activity in Vancouver. Just be sure to check the houts before you go becuse they close early.
