This little-known trail near Cilaos leads to one of the area’s most peaceful basins, tucked away behind trees and volcanic rock. It’s not a long hike, but the path narrows in places, and the descent to the water can be slippery. What you’ll find at the end is a clear pool, fed by a thin cascade, with barely a sign of development around.
