Port De Plaisance De Saint-Leu Réunion
HarbourSightseeing
Directions

Saint-Leu’s marina isn’t flash. It’s small, local, and functional, but that’s exactly what makes it appealing. You’ll see moored catamarans and colorful fishing boats, hear seagulls over the water, and smell salt and grilled fish from nearby food trucks and restaurants. Dive and surf schools are based here, and the break just offshore is one of the best on the west coast.

The promenade around the port is good for a stroll, especially at golden hour when the water glows and the town slows down. It’s not a major tourist site, but it’s a lived-in, relaxed place where locals gather. It's a good snapshot of everyday life on the island’s leeward side.

👉 Walk the jetty at dusk for the best view of the sunset over Boucan Canot and Saint-Gilles in the distance. Bring your camera.
