Cascade Délice is one of the easiest waterfalls to access on the island, yet many people miss it. Located just off the main road in Sainte-Suzanne, it's a short walk through tall grass and bamboo before you hear the water flowing. The fall itself is modest in size but flows year-round, pouring over dark volcanic rock into a shallow, photogenic pool.
It’s a good stop for a leg stretch or a quiet moment between destinations. Locals sometimes swim here, though the pool isn't deep. There’s no signage and no barriers, just a calm, natural corner where you can pause and breathe. It’s best early in the day or during the week when traffic is light and the site is silent.
👉 Park at the small clearing just before the bridge and walk 2 minutes upstream. The view from below is far better than from the roadside.
