The Meatpacking District in Manhattan, NYC is a very trendy neighborhood in downtown Manhattan. It's come a long way since it was a literal meatpacking district, and today is home to luxury hotels, designer stores and exclusive bars and clubs. It's a bit scene-y, but it's also a pretty area and worth looking around - especially to visit the Whitney Museum, the High Line, Chelsea Market and to get brunch or lunch at the RH Rooftop Restaurant.
