Pass A Grille Dog Beach is a small but beloved dog-friendly stretch of sand at the south end of Pass-A-Grille where pups can romp, splash, and enjoy soft sand next to the Pass-A-Grille Channel (Bay side) — a rare treat in the St. Pete Beach area since most Gulf beaches don’t allow dogs.

The vibe here is laid-back and local: owners bring chairs and water while dogs play in the shallow surf and sniff the shoreline. It’s especially lovely around sunset when the light softens and you can see Shell Key across the water.

Parking & Cost:
• The dog beach area itself is free to visit — no entrance fee.
• Paid street parking is available nearby along Pass-A-Grille Way and side streets, typically around a few dollars per hour like other Pass-A-Grille beach parking zones.
• There are no restrooms directly at the dog beach, so plan for that before you arrive.

It’s a wonderful spot for a morning or afternoon dog walk, or a relaxed sunset break with your four-legged travel buddy.
