If you want classic Florida beach camping with the ocean practically at your tent door, this is the spot. Right on Anastasia Island near St. Augustine, the campground sits inside more than 1,600 acres of white-sand beaches, tidal marshes, maritime hammock forest, and dunes — so you feel connected to nature from the moment you arrive.

There are about 139 tent and RV campsites with electricity and water hookups, picnic tables, in-ground grills, and fire rings. Most sites are tucked into shady hammock areas but still just a short walk or bike ride from the beach and the park’s biking/walking trails.

You’re minutes from beach access, birdwatching, hiking, fishing, kayaking, and more — plus historic downtown St. Augustine is just a quick drive away if you want a break from camp life.
