If you want that laid‑back Keys feeling but still want things to feel upscale and comfortable, Baker’s Cay is such a good pick. It’s so pretty, and right on the water — the kind of place where you actually slow down without feeling bored or cut off from everything.

This is a great splurge stay, especially if you’re using Hilton Honors points. If you can, book a room in the Coconut Wing — the ocean views and sunsets are next‑level and totally worth it.

The resort itself is easy to love. There’s a small beach, a couple of pools, fire pits at night, complimentary non‑motorized water gear, and solid on‑site dining, so you can happily spend days here without leaving. But it also works really well as a home base for exploring the Upper Keys — you’re close to snorkeling, kayaking, and all the outdoor adventures Key Largo is known for.
