This campground in Key Largo is one of the Florida Keys’ most memorable places to drop your anchor (or tent stake) if you want to pair real camping with tropical water adventure. It’s part of John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park — the first undersea park in the U.S. — so you’re camping steps from crystal-clear ocean waters and coral reef-focused activities.

The campground has around 47 full-facility sites that work for tents and RVs (usually up to ~45–60 ft) and include water, electric hookups, picnic tables and grills. There are restrooms with hot showers, laundry machines, and a camp store, so it’s comfortable without losing that Keys-outdoors vibe.
