Moondog Cafe is one of my absolute favorite spots in Old Town Key West, and I think they have the best key lime pie on the island. Bold claim, I know — but once you try it, you’ll get it. It’s creamy, perfectly tart, and the graham crust is spot on. Worth the stop just for that.

The breakfast menu is also solid, with everything from fresh pastries to full plates if you’re really hungry. It’s a small, casual spot with cozy outdoor seating and a laid-back vibe that fits Key West perfectly.

You’re in a perfect location here, too — just a short stroll from the Ernest Hemingway Home, Duval Street, and the Southernmost Point. It’s an easy stop to build into a morning of exploring.
