Just a short, pleasant stroll from the Flagler Museum, you'll find a true local legend: a magnificent, fairytale-like Kapok tree. Believed to be around 186 years old, its sheer size and sprawling roots are a breathtaking sight along the scenic waterfront path. While the tree itself is on private property behind a fence, you can get fantastic views and photos from the adjacent Lake Trail, making it a perfect, peaceful stop to appreciate a piece of natural history.
