This is one of Florida’s most classic natural camping experiences — tucked into the Ocala National Forest under a canopy of palms and live oaks, with crystal-clear first-magnitude spring water, trails, and a legendary paddling run right at your doorstep. Juniper Springs itself has been a beloved outdoor escape since the CCC built the recreation area in the 1930s, and camping here puts you in the middle of that wild Florida vibe.

The campground has about 79 shaded tent and RV sites arranged in loops near the springs and creek — no electric or sewer hookups at individual sites, but there are potable water spigots, a dump station, picnic tables, fire rings, flush toilets and hot showers to make your stay comfortable.
