This is one of the most important stops before starting the Nullarbor, especially if you’re coming from the east. Ceduna is the last place with proper supermarkets, services, and reasonably priced fuel before things get sparse and expensive.
I’d fill your tank here, top up all your water, and grab anything you think you might need — snacks, drinks, spare supplies — because options thin out quickly once you leave town.
Why I’d stop here:
⛽ Reliable fuel before long gaps
💧 Easy place to fully top up water
🛒 Good access to shops and supplies
🚗 Simple access for all vehicles
Even if you feel mostly stocked, this is one of those stops where it’s worth being cautious rather than optimistic.
Note: The information centre in Ceduna was very useful for me - they were happy to answer any questions I had. They mentioned they were shutting down a few days after I was there so it may not be open anymore but it might be worth a look if you needed any information about anything before or after starting the trip.
