I moved to the UK in 2023 to join my British husband after years of long-distance—and many trips exploring the UK together. And then there’s Norway—the country my name comes from, and one I’d dreamed of visiting since I was a kid. I’ve been three times now, chasing northern lights, watching whales in Skjervøy, and wandering the streets of Tromsø under that surreal Arctic light. It still feels like magic.
