Snowshill is a much smaller, quieter village that has remained relatively under the radar (for now). Movie buffs might recognize it as a filming location for Bridget Jones’s Diary, and it still carries that untouched, quintessential English charm. It’s a small place, taking only about 10–30 minutes to stroll through, but the photo opportunities are incredible. The pristine stone cottages and the way the village is nestled into the landscape make it one of the most picturesque stops in the region.

The 3 Essential Photo Stops:

  1. The Classic View: On the main street facing the red telephone box and the church, with the rolling Cotswold hills in the background and a stone cottage in the foreground.

  2. The "English Icon" Shot: Frame the red telephone box with the gate to the church garden and the church itself in the back.

  3. The High View: Head further up the street to look back down toward the church and another gate, with the hills stretching out behind.

Parking: You can park for free at the Pipers Grove car park (Snowshill, Broadway WR12 7JU), which is a short 3–5 minute walk into the center. Alternatively, if you are visiting the National Trust - Snowshill Manor and Garden, you can use the overflow car park (Snowshill, Broadway WR12 7JT).

Pro-Tip: If you’re visiting in the summer, make sure to combine this with a trip to the nearby Cotswold Lavender fields, which are just up the road and in full bloom during July and August.
