You wouldn’t expect to find something this dramatic tucked away behind a row of stone cottages, but that’s exactly what makes Rhaeadr Dyserth so special. Just off the main street, this 70-foot waterfall comes crashing down over a mossy cliff into a leafy gorge—and it’s way more impressive in person than photos suggest.

There’s a small entry fee (just a pound or two in a donation box), and the path takes you right up to the base of the falls. If you're feeling energetic, you can also climb the steps to the top for views over the village and surrounding hills. We went early in the morning and had the place to ourselves—just the sound of rushing water and birdsong.

The village of Dyserth itself is lovely too, with a café nearby and a couple of pubs if you fancy making it a proper stop.

Parking: There’s an on-site pay-and-display car park right next to the entrance (very convenient).

Tip: Spend 20–30 minutes here, then wander into Dyserth village for a coffee or snack. It’s a great quick stop before heading toward Llandudno or Conwy.
