Tal-y-llyn Lake, also known as Llyn Mwyngil, is a serene ribbon lake nestled at the foot of Cadair Idris in southern Snowdonia. I first heard about this lake through a mention in The Mortal Instruments series, which piqued my interest and led me to explore its tranquil beauty firsthand.

The lake is approximately a mile in length and offers a peaceful setting for walks and photography. The surrounding mountains and lush greenery provide a picturesque backdrop, making it a perfect spot for reflection and nature appreciation.

Parking: Parking can be limited, especially during peak times. It's advisable to arrive early to secure a spot.

Tip: The lake is particularly beautiful in the early morning or late afternoon when the light casts a golden hue over the water and surrounding landscape.
