Arrive early at popular beaches

Parking near Elba’s best-known beaches is limited, especially in July and August. At popular locations, spaces can fill up during the morning.

Try to arrive before 9:30 am or visit later in the afternoon, when some day visitors begin to leave. Always check the parking signs carefully, as certain areas are paid or reserved.

Never park outside marked areas or block narrow access roads. Towing and fines are possible, and blocked roads can create problems for local residents and emergency vehicles.

Travelistas tip: Keep a few coins with you. Not every parking machine accepts cards.
