One of the most impressive tombs in the Valley of the Kings, the Tomb of Ramses III is renowned for its vibrant colours and exceptionally well-preserved decorations. The walls are covered with detailed scenes from ancient Egyptian mythology, with many of the original reds, blues, and yellows still remarkably vivid after thousands of years.
As one of the most visited tombs in the valley, it can get crowded, especially mid-morning to early afternoon. Visiting early in the day offers lower temperatures and a more relaxed experience.
