🦁 The Avenue of Sphinxes is one of Luxor’s most impressive archaeological treasures. Stretching for nearly 3 kilometers, this ceremonial road once connected Karnak Temple with Luxor Temple and was used during important religious festivals, processions, and ritual ceremonies.

Recently restored, visitors can now walk along sections of the avenue and admire the hundreds of sphinx statues lining the route, offering insight into the grandeur and symbolism of ancient Egyptian architecture.

⏱️ Recommended Visit Time: 20–30 minutes
🎟️ Entry fee: Generally included with nearby temple visits.
📸 Best photo spot: Looking towards Luxor Temple, especially around sunset.

💡 Traveller Addicted Tip: Visit around sunset, when the golden light enhances the statues and the temples along the avenue begin to illuminate, creating a truly magical atmosphere.
