🏛️ Often overlooked by visitors, Medinet Habu is one of the most impressive temples in Luxor and one of our favorite hidden gems.
Built by Ramses III, this vast temple complex is remarkably well preserved, with vibrant carvings, detailed hieroglyphs, and far fewer crowds than Karnak or the Valley of the Kings.
Take your time to explore the courtyards and walls, where scenes of ancient battles and religious ceremonies are still visible after thousands of years.
⏱️ Recommended Visit Time: 45–60 minutes.
🎟️ Entry fee: Separate ticket required.
📸 Best Photo Spot: The main entrance gateway and the first courtyard.
💡 Traveller Addicted Tip: Visit early in the morning or late in the afternoon when the light is softer and the site is almost empty. It’s one of the best places in Luxor to enjoy the atmosphere of Ancient Egypt without the crowds.
