This cape is the easternmost part of the island. One of the most popular trekking routes is also located here. It is better to come here either in the morning at the sunrise or in the late afternoon. It is not recommended to go trekking during the pick of the day, as there are absolutely no trees and shade. In winter season recommended to have raincoat with you!

Clothing: the most comfortable shoes, sun hats, sunscreen or raincoats (check forecast before heading to this hike!).

Total time of round trek is about 4 hours with stop in the end for a drink and rest. Alternatively you can use water taxi to get back, but be aware that taxi will bring you to Marina da Quinta do Lorde it is more 20 minutes walk to the parking.
