Katla volcano, located in southern Iceland, is a big deal when it comes to eruptions. With at least twenty major blow-ups since 2920 BC, this fiery giant has been relatively chill lately, last going all out in 1918. Standing tall at 1,512 meters and covered by the Mýrdalsjökull glacier, Katla is like a sleeping dragon waiting to wake up. Keep an eye on this bad boy, 'cause when it decides to rumble, things can get pretty intense!
