The Bagel Bar
Restaurant
Directions

We were leaving the city soon, so Mia wanted to say goodbye to some of the friends she had made in her time there.

So, we met Rina at the Bagel Bar for lunch.

Once you've gotten your food, I highly suggest crossing the street into the park.

That's what we did, at least.

We walked around for a long while, looking for a place to eat.

It was a weekend, so the place was packed.

And mostly with couples.

Watching people hold hands, lean in close, and operate swan boats together...

It felt like the universe laughing at me.

Eventually we found a bench by the lake that wasn't taken (or covered in fresh bird poop), and we stayed there all afternoon long.

Mia and Rina did most of the talking.

I mostly just sat.

Watched the fountain.

I did chime in when she asked about the boys, though.

You should write a book!

Huh.

I guess I sorta did, didn't I :)

Sit and eat, sit and watch, or eat then wander.

It's up to you.

Maybe even get one of those swan boats...
