Geysir Geothermal Area is located on the Golden Circle and is one of the most visited attractions in all of Iceland. It's a fascinating geothermal area located in South Iceland, known for its impressive hot springs and geysers. The most famous one, Strokkur, erupts every few minutes, shooting water high into the air—sometimes reaching up to 30 meters! It's one of Iceland's most spectacular displays of nature. The surrounding landscape is dotted with bubbling mud pots and steaming vents, and you can wander along the boardwalks and explore the area. But be warned, the whole area has a unique smell from the sulfur!
