Hvammsvik is one of the most unique hot springs in Iceland. It's located in the west of Iceland, close to the Glymur Waterfall trail and right next to a huge lake. The landscape is stunning, and you'll be surrounded by mountains, plus you can actually go plunging into the lake after soaking in the hot spring. It's much more peaceful than many of the more commercial springs and is a beautiful place to stop for a soak.
