How to get from the airport to Baku

Currently, there are several ways to get from Heydar Aliyev Airport to City:

1. Bus

The bus runs from the airport to Koroğlu Metro Station and 28 May (downtown Baku) every 15 minutes during the day and every 45 minutes at night. The bus fare is 1.30 AZN (0.76 USD)

You can pay using a physical card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay

Or using a BakıKart. Cards are available at a special machine near the airport exit, or you can pay via QR code in the BakıKart or M10 apps.

2. Taxi

There are currently 5 taxi operators.

You can order a taxi via the Uber, Bolt, or Yango apps and pay either in cash or by card.

You can also take a taxi directly at the airport desk through Baku Taxi. They use a taximeter, and payment can be made via terminal.

Taxis can also be booked by calling 189 or through the operator’s app.

All taxi operators provide comfort-class vehicles and have an intermediate or higher level of English proficiency.
