If you stay in Azerbaijan for more than 15 days, you need to register at your place of residence

This rule mainly applies to foreign citizens. Registration is required so that the state knows where you are temporarily staying in the country. It is not “permanent registration” or residency — it is only valid for the duration of your stay

Usually, registration is done by the hotel or the host where you are staying. It can also be completed through the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan

If you stay in the country for less than 15 days, registration is not required
