For one of the best sunset views in town, take a stroll along the pier from Pere Marquette Park out to the iconic red breakwater light. The walk itself is a lovely, easy-going half-mile journey, taking about 15-20 minutes, where you can watch boats drift by and feel the fresh breeze off Lake Michigan. It's a perfect spot to capture some beautiful photos and simply soak in the expansive views of the water and the channel.
