Stumbling into Tanaka Ramen near Tokyo's electronics district turned out to be one of those perfect Japan moments. Pro tip: when you see people queuing up for food in Japan, get in line - they know something you don't. This place proved that rule perfectly.

First things first - you'll need to figure out the kiosk ordering system outside (classic Japan move). We got lucky scoring five seats together, which is about as rare as finding a unicorn in these tiny ramen joints. And even though I'm no ramen expert, this bowl was something special. Like, "remember-it-for-years" kind of special.

Quick PSA for newbies: when you spot those lines outside Japanese restaurants, especially ramen spots? That's your signal to jump in queue. The Japanese don't waste time standing in line for mediocre food, and Tanaka Ramen shows exactly why this rule of thumb works.
